Our Vision

To share knowledge and expertise with children to build up a basic set of skills to get them fit for blending into society and into comfortable healthy working environment.

Our Mission

The goal of The Ark Trust, is to prepare less fortunate children to be able to blend into modern society with a basic set of skills, knowledge base and certain amount of work experience making it easier for the for the children to get a head start in a career or at least get a job in the perspective field of expertise. Also with these set skills we can help children to become self sufficient in selling handmade goods so that they are not reliant on food and clothing donations for survival.

Current Projects

We are in process building a multipurpose care centre, named 'Patrick Cahill Multipurpose Care Centre, opposite from the Tribal Court, Mukwe East Kavango.
This is a non-profit based project where Christian men and women take time to share their knowledge and expertise with children of various villages to build up a basic set of skills to get them fit for blending into society and into comfortable healthy working environment.

Implementation will require very little, and in some projects, no start-up capital since all skills are being taught verbally and with practical experience.

The Implementation is very easy and cost effective and is based on a Christian concept which has not been implemented into the Namibian society as yet. Many volunteers will be willing to help these children since both parties will benefit from this experience.
